Hey man, I just wanted to know what kept you waiting to finally be able to be officially with the girl you've liked and couldn't get out of your head for 8 years? Was there any type of special event that happened?

To be honest, just life in general. We were at different points in our lives, and keep in mind we lived in different states. She moved here and we just let things happen naturally. I mean we’ve been friends for about 7 years and we were just recently in a position to let things just happen. Why rush it you know? I’m chillin

This guy is an idiot if he thinks people are hating on Skrillex etc because they hear others doing so. The current incarnation of ‘dubstep’ has no musical merit at all compared to when the genre first emerged, and deserves all the hate it gets.

I’m with you 10000% on that.

Dude, I know you don't often post pics of yourself, but I think your followers who admire you would be inspired if you posted a pic of yourself with your girlfriend.

As odd as it sounds until recently, pics of us together didn’t exist. I know she has a couple on her camera though, possibly.

Dojorok - Cheerful Green Eyes

Grimmeh called it. This track is about Whitney. I tried embodying her essence into sound. Her cheerful, upbeat, positive attitude explained through music. To be honest she the muse behind about 75 percent of my music.

Not much going on in Boston dude, theres an ASAP concert Monday, hoping that Flying Lotus comes back to the House of Blues sometime soon. Boston needs some new people to get things really going off

Oh word? I’d still like to come through, I’ve heard good things. What is the electronic music scene like?

what made you fall in love with your girl?

Well for starters she was my best friend for the better part of 8 years. We just clicked. Given that everyone has a very different unique way of thought process and with her I never really had to explain things. It’s like she was reading my mind and vice versa. From the moment that we first started talking, there was an instant mental click that I had never had with anyone. Time would pass, and we were still good friends, she lived in another state so we wouldn’t see each other too often. I think even a year went by that we didn’t communicate. But when we would, it’s like as if there was no gap in time. We picked up right where we left off. During that time she had her relationships and I had mine. No matter what I did, I couldn’t get her out of my head. We just got eachother. That and music. She’s as much as a beat junkie as I am. She’s a very creative being and I love that about her. I could go on and on about this girl but I’m sure no one wants to hear about it. She’s dope though, I love her very much. That and her eyessss. Green as the blunts that get twisted namsayin

it's almost sad that some people are too stupid to form their own opinions about music, art, etc., so they go to the popular elitists who will just talk shit because it isn't something they particularly like. not really a question, just a thought i felt like sharing.

Oh and I’m not saying the UK dub scene fell off. Not at all, but I just drifted away from it is all. Whenever I do play dub, it’s to the roots I go digging for.

Anonymous asked:
IDK if you've been asked this before, but what do you think of dubstep?

I don’t really bump it anymore. Old shit I love like Benga, Skream, the more original stuff. I’ve heard very little good dubstep from here in the states. People like Bassnectar and Skrillex just made it a pissing contest with who can make it more obnoxious. It came and went the way I see it. I mean, there’s even a genre called “post dubstep”. Need I say more?

Thoughts on Freddie Gibbs and Madlib?

All I’m going to say is Madlib is to hip hop as what Aphex Twin is to electronic music. Freddie Gibbs on the other hand? IDK….
